The Sparkling Truth Behind HauteCarat Lab-Created Diamonds

4 minute read

For many, the idea of wearing diamonds is alluring--they are sparkly, hard to come by, and have long been associated with luxury and status. But, with the rise of lab-created diamonds, a major question has come up:

Are lab-created diamonds as brilliant as mined diamonds?

Lab-created diamonds are diamonds that are created in a laboratory setting rather than being mined from the Earth. Because they are man-made, they are often less expensive than mined diamonds and can be created to order in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. But, some worry that this means they are not as brilliant or beautiful as mined diamonds.

The truth is that, when it comes to sparkle, lab-created diamonds from HauteCarat rival that of mined diamonds. HauteCarat is a leading provider of lab-created diamonds, and our diamonds are carefully crafted using cutting-edge technology. Our diamonds are graded using the same standards as mined diamonds and are often indistinguishable from the real thing.

The key factor that determines the sparkle of a diamond is its cut. Lab-created diamonds from HauteCarat are cut with precision to ensure that they have the maximum amount of sparkle. Plus, because they are lab-created, they can be cut to specific shapes and sizes that may not be available in mined diamonds.

At the end of the day, it really comes down to personal preference. Some people prefer the idea of wearing a mined diamond because of its status and rarity. For others, lab-created diamonds offer the same level of sparkle and beauty, plus they can be more cost-effective and customizable.

No matter which type of diamond you choose, it’s important to remember that diamonds are a symbol of love, commitment, and beauty. Whether it’s a mined diamond or a lab-created diamond from HauteCarat, it’s sure to sparkle brilliantly and bring joy for years to come.

The Different Clarity Grades of Lab-Created Diamonds

When considering a lab-created diamond, many people are unaware of the variety of clarity grades that are available. The clarity of a diamond is determined by the number and size of the inclusions present within a stone. These inclusions are small imperfections that occur during the formation of a diamond and can vary in size and type. Lab-created diamonds are no different in their formation and, as such, have a range of clarity grades that are available.

At HauteCarat, we understand that customers have different needs when it comes to the clarity of a lab-created diamond. Consequently, we strive to offer customers a wide variety of clarity grades when selecting their diamonds. The clarity of a lab-created diamond is determined using the same standards as mined diamonds, with a range of grades to choose from.

The highest grade of clarity for lab-created diamonds is Flawless (FL). This grade is extremely rare, and diamonds of this grade are almost perfect, with no visible inclusions. The next grade is Internally Flawless (IF), which is also very rare and perfect in appearance but may have some minor inclusions that are only visible under magnification.

The next grade down is Very Very Slightly Included (VVS1 and VVS2). These diamonds have very minor inclusions that can only be seen under 10x magnification. Next is Slightly Included (SI1 and SI2) diamonds, which have minor inclusions that are visible under 10x magnification but not to the naked eye. Finally, the lowest grade of clarity is Included (I1, I2, and I3). These diamonds have inclusions that are often visible to the eye.

At HauteCarat, we strive to provide customers with the best selection of lab-created diamonds. We have diamonds of all clarity grades, from Flawless to Included, so that customers can find the perfect diamond for their needs. Whether you’re looking for a diamond with the highest clarity or one with a slightly lower grade, we have the selection to meet your needs.
